Remedial Breast Ice and Heat Packs

Throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding, your breasts go through some tender moments. If you desire the cooling sensation of an ice pack or the gentle warming of a heat pack, then don’t despair ladies, we've got you covered! 

The simple design can be placed inside your bra, working as either an ice pack or heat pack that fits comfortably over your breasts.

Instructions for Use:

Heat Therapy ~ Breast Heat Packs (Heat in microwave or warm water)

Submerge in hot water without disposable sleeves or microwave for the suggested times below. Heat in additional 5-second increments until desired temperature is achieved. Always test temperature before application.

•700 Watt Microwave: 20 seconds

•1000 Watt Microwave: 15 seconds

•1200 Watt Microwave: 10 seconds

The heat helps in relieving blocked ducts and  encourages the milk let down reflex and flow. This will then help minimise the time spent breastfeeding and expressing. Heat therapy also helps with general breast pain and tenderness, and aids in prevention of mastitis.

Cold Therapy ~ Breast Ice Packs (Freeze in freezer)

Use as a breast ice pack after breastfeeding to relieve pain and inflammation of the breasts. Cold therapy can help to relieve pain and tenderness associated with engorgement, mastitis, blocked ducts  and general discomfort associated with breastfeeding. A soothing aid for mums.

Cleaning: Wash your breast pack with warm soapy water. You can also hand wash your breast pack sleeves and air dry for continued use. 

How to Wear our Breast Pads

Slip on the protective, washable sleeves provided and place directly on breasts inside bra. Apply for the medically recommended time of 20 minutes. Wait until the skin returns to normal temperature before reapplying.

What are our Breast Pads made of?

Our gel inserts are made from non-toxic gel beads and are TGA certified which means you don't need to fill your breast pads with ice or warm water in order to use them. Our outer sleeves are also washable and hygienic.
